Property Tax Information

Contact your townships assessor for questions pertaining to property assessments, address changes, STAR enrollment, Enhanced STAR applications, and/or to make a request for any changes to parcel information.

Prior Service Credit Requests for Former Employees

If you previously worked for Addison Central School District and would like to request that your prior service be recognized toward your pension through the NYS Retirement System, this page will guide you through the process.

All prior service credit requests must be submitted by email. Please do not contact individual staff members directly — all requests are processed through a single point of contact to ensure a timely and consistent response.

What to Include in Your Email

To help us locate your records as quickly as possible, please include the following information in your request:

  1. Your full name. Include any previous names you may have used during your employment with the district.
  2. Approximate dates of employment. Provide the years (and months if known) during which you worked for Addison CSD.
  3. Your role or position. Include the title or type of work you performed, to the best of your recollection.
  4. Your contact information. A current email address and phone number so we can follow up with you directly.

Freedom of Information (FOIL) Requests

Any member of the public has the right to examine and/or copy existing records or documents in accordance with the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL). A fee of twenty five cents per single sided page is charged for requested copies. To examine district records please contact:

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

Parents and eligible students have the right to see educational records pertaining to the student under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, also known as FERPA or the Buckley Amendment. Contact your child's school principal to access your child's educational records.
